Pan Impact Foundation: 

A Beacon of Opportunity and Support for the African Community

Formerly known as The Mali Influential Youth Organization (MIYO), the Pan Impact Foundation is a nonprofit registered under Section 501(c) in New York. Our mission is to support African youth and families through our Four Programmatic Pillars: Faith-Centric Empowerment, Community Cultivation, Educational Excellence, and Inclusive Harmony.

2020: A Year of Resilience and Community Support

  • June: Birth of MIYO

  • August: PPE Handout - Distributed 200 free PPE kits to African communities in Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Harlem, and the Bronx.

  • September: Mali Independence Day Field Day - Celebrated with over 250 Malians in New York, promoting health and cultural appreciation.

  • October: College Prep and Mentorship Program - Launched 1-on-1 mentoring and educational support for high school students.

  • March: Coat & Blanket Drive - Created 100+ winter care packages for shelters in Philadelphia and New York City.

2021: Empowering Through Education and Celebration

  • February: Desire to Aspire Scholarship - Awarded two $250 scholarships to college students.

  • April - May: Ramadan Yearly Project - Distributed groceries to over 5000 families and supported 50 families in Mali with food and clothes.

  • August: Back to School Field Day - Provided 300 bags of school supplies and organized outdoor activities for African families.

  • December: African Royalty Gala - Celebrated African Diaspora art and accomplishments with over 200 attendees.

2022: Expanding Horizons and Strengthening Bonds

  • April - May: Annual Ramadan Project - Partnered with Unite My Ummah to aid over 5000 families in New York and Philadelphia.

  • August: MIYO Summer Camp - Hosted a summer camp with activities promoting new skills, health, and family togetherness, including a trip to Dorney Park for 150 families.

2023: Continuing to Serve and Evolve

  • February: 3rd Ramadan Project - Continued Ramadan traditions in partnership with IRUSA and Harlem Islamic Center.

  • April: Community Eid Celebration - Partnered with various organizations to celebrate Eid with the community.

2024: Looking Ahead

  • May: A New Identity - Rebranded to Pan Impact Foundation, reaffirming our commitment to growth, resilience, and hope in our communities.
