Mohammed Traore
Founder & Outreach Lead
Traore brings over 10 years of experience in community engagement. Guided by the Quranic verse, “Verily, with every difficulty, there is relief” (إِنَّ مَعَ ٱلْعُسْرِ يُسْرًۭا), Traore is passionate about serving others, traveling, and mentoring the younger generations in his community. His guiding philosophy: focus on the journey, not just the outcome, and remember that adversity is always temporary.
He is the founder of PIF and is currently pursuing an MD with a focus on Cardiac Electrophysiology.
Nabintou Doumbia
Grant Manager & Event Coordinator
Doumbia has over a decade of community organizing experience. She has worked on initiatives for diverse audiences including youth, women, masajid, humanitarian causes, and more. She is fueled by the Islamic principle of service to God’s creation as a means of worship, and believes that unshakeable communities begin with grassroots projects. With a particular focus on the African diaspora, Doumbia is excited to do impactful work that connects young Africans all over the world.
By trade, Doumbia is a New York-barred attorney who works with businesses to serve their complex legal needs. She also has an unwavering passion for immigrant rights.
Bakary Diarrassouba
Program Lead
Diarrassouba is an Ivorian-American with a deep appreciation for community and service. He is passionate about creating pathways that advance the development of Africa. With a background in technology, entrepreneurship, and storytelling, and by using his experiences as a Black Muslim creative and corporate leader, Diarrassouba works to address the unique challenges faced by African youth in under-resourced communities.
He envisions a future where African youth are empowered to lead with purpose, equipped with knowledge and resources, and united in service across borders.
Mariame Traore
Marketing Lead
Traore, born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, is a dynamic and creative professional with a strong passion for marketing and community building. Her marketing journey began in college, when an introductory marketing course sparked her interest and solidified her career path. Since then, she has honed her expertise in brand storytelling, strategic planning, and digital engagement, becoming a vital asset to every team she has been a part of.
She uses her skills and commitment to community service to help PIF create a thriving platform where first-generation Africans can access valuable resources, foster meaningful connections, and uplift their communities.
Sadia Sylla
Community Outreach Coordinator
Sylla, the oldest of four siblings and a first-generation college graduate, earned his bachelor's degree in Media Communication Studies from Lehman College. He currently works in advertising as a Negotiator and is deeply passionate about community outreach and service. Sadia is dedicated to expanding PIF's outreach efforts across New York City and into other cities.
A fun fact about Sadia is that he played basketball and lacrosse during high school and continues to play basketball recreationally. He also serves as a youth leader at his local masjid in Harlem, where he is committed to inspiring and guiding the next generation.
Ramata Cisse
Marketing Co-Lead
Cisse holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with concentrations in Physics and Chemistry, as well as a Master’s degree in Health Science. Passionate about global health and educational equity, Ramata is dedicated to creating and advancing opportunities for the African diaspora. Her work is driven by a commitment to empowering both local and global communities with the resources necessary for sustainable change, aligning with the mission of the Pan Impact Foundation.
She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Dental Surgery.
